Over the last few months, Pye Tait has been transitioning to a new management structure, having become part of EMB Group in January 2023. The main change is that Pye Tait’s founding directors will be leaving the business – and Tom Clarkson, the MD of Pye Tait’s sister company Blue Marble Research, will be taking over the reins, supported by a strengthened senior management team at Pye Tait.
Miranda writes:
It's been quite a journey for Keith and me – one that has given us much pride and satisfaction. We have always acknowledged that Pye Tait’s success is founded on the top people we employ, their enthusiasm, skills, willingness to learn, adapt and be part of a supportive team – also, the talented partners with whom we often work. Strategically, we have always managed to adapt to market needs, with an appetite to diversify based on the team’s knowledge, interests, skills and experience: we know we can deliver with confidence and acquired expertise.
We officially started the business in 1991 as a Partnership. The company was very much grounded in our prior experience and job roles (marketing, exporting and business management). By 1999, we were offering services in research, website design & management, marketing, databasing, and education. By 2008, Pye Tait’s main business activities focused on both qualitative and quantitative research and development, mainly within the fields of learning, skills, and labour markets. In recent years, we’ve focused on offering qualitative and quantitative research, development, evaluation, and consulting services – a more broadened scope. And who knows what’s coming next?!
For us, it is good to know that the future is bright and rosy for the superb company we leave behind. We wish continuing success for Pye Tait and all the partners within the EMB Group.
