Rachael Archer – Research Manager
With fifteen years of research experience, Rachael has most recently managed Further Education (FE) and Skills sector research and has significant knowledge of vocational education. Among much else she completed an FE leadership programme evaluation, adapting content to meet the development needs of future chief executives and principals and creating CPD resources to support leadership development.
She is a skilled project manager, proficient in the delivery of qualitative and quantitative research methods and experienced in undertaking process and impact evaluations. Rachael enjoys working closely with clients to design Theory of Change models, helping them reflect on how processes develop over time and influence anticipated impacts.
In recent years, she has employed behavioural insight models to understand decision-making influences on learners’ choice of vocational subjects for the Social Mobility Commission, employers’ engagement with the Institute for Apprenticeships & Technical Education, and businesses’ response to regulation for the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy.
